The Foster Carers’ Charter reminds us that our carers are at the ‘heart’ of any plan for a child in care.
The Charter provides a clear and easily understood set of principles to guide the relationship between foster carers, local authority and the fostering service in providing for the needs of some of our most vulnerable children and young people.
Kindercare Fostering recognises the vital role foster carers play in ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people in our care and identifies how the local authorities and Kindercare Fostering should support them in their role to achieve this.
Kindercare Fostering is confident that with the level of support and training we provide to our foster carers, we have the ability to meet the guidelines laid down in the Foster Carers’ Charter.
