Support for Carers with Allegations at Christmas

The Christmas period can be a particularly emotive time for some foster families and relationships between foster carers and looked after children can sometimes breakdown.

Don’t forget – FosterTalk can help by providing independent fostering advice and support to foster carers who have had an allegation or a standards of care complaint made against them. If you need advice regarding an allegation, concern or complaint, call FosterTalk.

How can they help?
It is considered best practice to provide independent support to foster carers with allegations; they can provide telephone and e-mail advice as well as face to face support at meetings for any foster carer facing an allegation or complaint.
